Gardens-A-Glow is the year-end light-up at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. About 250 decorated trees line Main Gate Road, with a themed display at Bukit Timah Gate, and everything is lit after dusk.
It is a slower and quieter kind of Christmas date than Orchard Road. Stroll at your own pace, find a bench and talk. Entry to the Gardens is free, and Botanic Gardens and Napier MRT stations are both close by.
