Level Up Your Brunch Game: 10 Dates to Impress Your S.O.

best brunch date spots singapore

Brunch doesn’t have to mean the same cafe every Saturday. Here are 10 of the best brunch date ideas in Singapore for couples.

Let’s be real. How many times can you split the same avocado toast at the same crowded cafe before it feels like Groundhog Day? Brunch is great, but when you’re spending your Saturday morning queuing for 45 minutes just to sit in a noisy corner, the romance dies a little bit – sian right?

It’s 2026, and your weekend deserves better.

But this isn’t just a list of the best brunch cafes in Singapore (we’ve done that). We went looking for brunch dates that give you something to do together. Not just eat (though obviously there’s a lot of eating).

1) Brunch at home with fancy deliveries

Don’t want to change out of your PJs or shorts? Can. Just get the fancy stuff delivered and plate it up yourself.

Le Petit Croissant delivers mini croissants, pancakes, and savory bites as early as 7am. Arrange them on a nice board, brew some coffee, and boom: instant boutique hotel vibes in your own living room.

Or, if you want a bit of a DIY spread, grab some artisan sourdough from Baker & Cook. Fry a couple of eggs, brew a pot of coffee, and you’ve got a romantic, high-SES breakfast at your own dining table without the “service charge” or the crowd.

2) Brunch in the neighbourhood, then just… walk

The best dates have no “hard” ending. You eat, then you just… jalan.

Over at Merci Marcel in Tiong Bahru, you can sit in that gorgeous glasshouse patio and tuck into a Croque Marcel ($22) or a Brioche French Toast ($20) before exploring the art deco HDB blocks and indie bookstores nearby.

If you’re more of an East Coast person, Common Man Coffee Roasters in Joo Chiat has those legendary Sourdough Pancakes ($24) that are worth waking up for, along with other elevated breakfast options.

After you’re stuffed, just poke around the vintage shops and colourful shophouses nearby. Boom – afternoon sorted, no plan needed.

3) Visit Bollywood Farms, eat at Poison Ivy Bistro

A farm. In Singapore. On a date. Huh?

If the city feels too suffocating, head out to the Kranji countryside for some serious kampung energy. Bollywood Farms is 10 acres of pure greenery where the Poison Ivy Bistro serves up what they literally just harvested. Their Nasi Lemak Platter ($16–$20) comes with rice naturally coloured blue from butterfly pea flowers, sambal vegetables, otah, and chicken wings marinated using farm-grown herbs. The Warrior’s Platter ($20 for two) is a hearty mix of whatever’s in season. If it’s hot (and in Singapore, when is it not), the house-made lemongrass tea is exactly what you need.

Check their website to reserve a table at the bistro.

best brunch date places in singapore at National Kitchen by Violet Oon

March 2026 is peak culture season, so why not pair your meal with some brain food?

You can catch the final week of the Singapore Biennale, which is closing 29 Mar (admission is free from 20 to 29 Mar), or hit the ArtScience Museum for that massive anatomy exhibition, “Flesh and Bones: The Art of Anatomy”, which features over 160 artefacts, a massive Chiharu Shiota thread installation and even plastinated human specimens from NTU. Ooo. Tickets are ~$16.50 (for the ArtScience Museum exhibit).

Plus, National Gallery’s Southeast Asian galleries are closing from April for an 18-month renovation, so this is your last chance to see them for a long while!

Okay, wait, did we forget the brunch? Of course not. National Kitchen by Violet Oon is inside the Gallery itself, and the Peranakan-inspired menu (mains $25 to $45) is as good as the setting. You’ve got ornate interiors and heritage flavours all in one. And you’re eating inside a former government building turned art museum. Not a bad Saturday at all.

This one is the splurge-y entry. But sometimes you want a morning that feels like a proper occasion, right?

CÉ LA VI’s East Meets Extra Saturday brunch is the ultimate flex. For $88++ (or $148++ with free-flow Veuve Clicquot), you get a 3-course Modern Asian feast 57 floors up. Maybe start with the Beef Tartare Tart featuring uni aioli, then move on to a Braised Beef Short Rib Rendang that is seriously tender. If you prefer seafood, the Red Snapper in laksa sauce is just as shiok. Pair it with a Geisha (gin and saké) and enjoy the view. Just remember the dress code is “Summer Resort Chic”, so leave the flip-flops at home.

If you want something a bit more relaxed but still atas, LeVeL33 at MBFC is the world’s highest urban microbrewery. Their Weekender Brunch (Sat & Sun, 12pm to 2.30pm) runs mains from $30 to $50, with an optional free-flow package of their house-brewed beers and Prosecco. You can grab brunch and sit on the terrace overlooking the whole skyline – it’s the kind of spot where the afternoon just rolls into a sunset session without you even noticing.

7) Learn how to make brunch together

They say making food together reveals a lot about a couple. Like who reads the recipe and who just “agak-agak” and ruins the rice. ToTT at i12 Katong often runs 1-for-1 deals on their cooking classes, so you can learn to make Thai or Japanese food together for about $120-150 for two. Morning classes start from 11.30am.

For something more soulful, try Food Playground in Chinatown, which is run as a social enterprise where local “aunties” teach you their secret recipes in a heritage shophouse. It’s a lot like cooking with family and less like a proper class. Book here.

8) Hotel buffet brunch

Every couple needs to destroy a hotel buffet at least once. Colony at The Ritz-Carlton is the gold standard, with their Sunday Champagne Brunch (12pm to 3.30pm) featuring over 100 dishes and an ice bar stacked with Alaskan king crab that will make your head spin. The price? at $230++ per adult. Oof.

If that’s a bit too much for the wallet, TOWN Restaurant at The Fullerton Hotel is a classic alternative with Sunday brunch from $130++ with free-flow soft drinks, or $188++ with champagne. Their riverside setting is beautiful, and their Hainanese Chicken Rice and Town Laksa are both legitimately great options.

Both are Sundays only (for brunch).

9) Waterfront vibes and bottomless sushi brunch

If you want a brunch that feels like a par-tay, whoop whoop, head to Kinki Restaurant + Bar at Customs House. It’s all graffiti murals and loud music, and their Saturday Bottomless Brunch ($68++) gets you free-flow sushi, sashimi, maki, and cold dishes, plus one main. Then, head to the rooftop bar level for the panoramic Marina Bay views – if you can snag a seat at the edge.

If you’d rather have sand between your toes, Coastes on Siloso Beach is the spot. You can eat French toast in a deck chair right on the sand with no shoes required. It’s the closest you’ll get to a Bali beach club without the flight.

10) Sakura 2026 at Gardens by the Bay, then brunch

This one is strictly time-sensitive! Sakura 2026 is running at Gardens by the Bay until 15 April, featuring blossoms from Japan’s Ishikawa Prefecture and some Sanrio characters in kimonos. There’s even a rain installation you can walk through, inspired by Ishikawa’s famously wet climate. Tickets are ~$12.

The move here is to go early while the Flower Dome is cool and quiet, take your “couple goals” photos and then walk over to any of the Marina Bay spots we mentioned for a celebratory drink. CÉ LA VI, LeVeL33, and Kinki are all walking distance. Cherry blossoms followed by champagne on a rooftop? Now that, reader, is a top-tier date.
