1. A glowing date night at i Light Singapore 2026

As night falls, Marina Bay comes alive with glowing installations, interactive exhibits and illuminated art trails for the return of i Light Singapore.

Centred around the theme “Movement”, this year’s edition features 14 light installations by artists from Singapore and across Asia. Expect everything from towering illuminated figures and glowing flower displays to playful digital works that invite visitors to interact with the art itself. One highlight includes an installation where you can “fish” the sun out of the sky, while the Arch Flower tunnel at Raffles Place is set to draw plenty of cameras throughout the festival.

2. Step into Disney Garden of Wonder together

Disney and Pixar characters return to Floral Fantasy in a dreamy showcase filled with larger-than-life floral sculptures and storybook-inspired landscapes.

Back for a second edition, Disney Garden of Wonder features 23 topiary displays spread across six themed zones, with new additions including Rapunzel, Belle and Jasmine. Elsewhere, Anna and Elsa take over a frosty floral wonderland complete with icy lighting effects, while familiar favourites like Sorcerer Mickey, Winnie the Pooh and the Toy Story gang make appearances throughout the space. It is colourful, nostalgic and made for couples who do not mind filling their camera roll with far too many photos together.

3. Eat, drink and vibe at GastroBeats

Returning for its fifth edition at Bayfront Event Space, the festival brings together over 40 food vendors, daily live performances and interactive activities ranging from arcade games to pickleball. Expect everything from smoky barbecue and tacos to soufflé pancakes and elevated dining concepts, with plenty to snack on while local acts soundtrack the evening in the background.

4. Laugh through football season with Kumar

Football fever meets unapologetic comedy in Kumar’s latest live show, packed with sharp punchlines, outrageous costumes and plenty of local humour.

Set against the madness of football season, Kumar Got Balls dives headfirst into everything from relationship quirks and sporting obsessions to the chaos of everyday Singapore life. Backed by dancers, glittering theatrics and larger-than-life energy, the show promises 90 minutes of campy, no-holds-barred entertainment that is best enjoyed with someone who appreciates humour that pulls absolutely no punches.

5. Dive into an immersive ocean world at ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples

From Arctic exploration zones to panoramic underwater projections, ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples transforms ocean research into a multi-sensory experience filled with immersive visuals, spatial sound and interactive installations. Couples can step inside the Tara Polar Station, journey through 360-degree ocean environments and discover Singapore’s marine heritage through cinematic storytelling and tactile exhibits.

For an even more immersive experience, the optional Secrets of the Blue add-on lets visitors explore underwater ecosystems through a free-roaming VR adventure, though separate tickets are required. Atmospheric and visually striking, this is a date best suited to couples who enjoy interactive exhibitions, science-led experiences and discovering something new together.

CHIJMES Hall transforms into a thoughtfully curated marketplace this June, bringing together over 45 Singapore-based creative brands across fashion, beauty, homeware, accessories and lifestyle.

Beyond shopping, couples can meet the makers behind the labels, discover locally crafted pieces and explore a mini exhibition spotlighting the work of female photographers and artists. Head down on 10 June and the first 100 guests will also receive a complimentary summer spritz to sip on while browsing the market.
