1. Catch the F1 Action On and Off the Track

Topping our October list is Singapore’s biggest annual race weekend. Since F1 first came to Singapore in 2008, the Marina Bay Street Circuit has become synonymous with night racing, but this year brings a major first: Singapore will host its very first F1 Sprint, giving fans even more racing to catch across the weekend.
The Sprint takes place on Saturday, 10 October, ahead of Grand Prix Qualifying later that evening, while Sunday brings the main race. Off the track, the entertainment line-up is just as packed, with JJ Lin and CORTIS on Friday, The Killers and Zara Larsson on Saturday, and Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson and James Arthur on Sunday, alongside DJs and other performances across the circuit. There are also F1 Drivers’ Fan Forums on Friday and Saturday for fans who want to get closer to the action.
And the F1 fever starts before race weekend proper. On 3 October, the Gran Turismo World Series 2026 Round 3 takes over Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands, bringing top international sim racers together for a live esports showdown. If your date is more into virtual racing than sitting in the grandstand, this one is worth adding to the itinerary.

Got a habit of saving local brands on Instagram and never actually checking them out? The FOMO Weekend Market is your excuse to finally browse them IRL, with more than 60 local retailers, independent labels and emerging creators gathered under one roof.
Spend the afternoon browsing fashion, accessories, beauty, crafts and wellness finds, with names like Shop With The Sisters, Say Kaara, Lychee Co and Yumi Basics in the mix. And because one market is apparently not enough, this edition is happening alongside The Wedding Upmarket and The Great Food Assembly, so you can sneak in some wedding inspiration or pick up new snacks between shopping stops. Entry is free, so there’s really no excuse to let your FOMO win from the comfort of your sofa.

Forget sitting around a table making small talk. BuzzAttack turns date night into an immersive live game show, with five main challenges and a series of mini-games that put your trivia knowledge, reflexes and teamwork to the test.
Bring another couple along and form a team of four to 12, then battle it out across the different rounds. Expect plenty of friendly competition, quick decisions and moments that will have you celebrating one minute and blaming your teammates the next. It’s a good excuse to shake up the usual dinner-and-drinks double date, especially when you want something a little more hands-on.

4. Go On A Butterbear Adventure At Orchardgateway

Credits: Butterbear
Butterbear is taking over orchardgateway this October, with Singapore’s first-ever Butterbear Happy Walk, giant inflatables and plenty of cute photo spots to keep the sweetness going beyond the finish line.
The Happy Walk takes place on 17 October, with participants setting off from Singapore Management University before making their way to orchardgateway. Once there, the fun continues with in-store games, challenges, prizes and Butterbear-themed activities across participating shops. And yes, there are plenty of photo opportunities, including a 4-metre-high Butterbear inflatable at the Plaza.
You don’t have to wait until race day to join in either. Until 18 October, spending $120 or $250 at orchardgateway unlocks shopping rewards including vouchers, free parking and Butterbear blind boxes. The in-mall Happy Quest ended on 9 October, but the Butterbear displays will stick around until 1 November, so there’s still time to get your photo with the giant bear even after the walk is over.
- Date: Now – 1 Nov 2026 (shopping rewards until 18 Oct)
- Opening hours: 10.30am – 10.30pm
- Address: orchardgateway
- Price: Free entry (Butterbear Happy Walk priced separately)

Based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the seven-time Tony Award-winning musical follows a tribe of cats as they gather for the annual Jellicle Ball, where one will be chosen for a new life. Expect elaborate costumes, impressive choreography and plenty of big musical numbers, including the much-loved “Memory”.
