Looking for an affordable hotel buffet in Singapore? Here are 8 buffet deals below $50 per person for 2026, from a $28++ porridge buffet to halal spreads and 1-for-1 Peranakan feasts, with what to eat and how to get each deal.
Hotel buffets are a great date when you can’t agree on what to eat, but most of them now cost $70 to $100 a head. The trick is to use the 1-for-1 and 50% off promotions that many hotels run all year. With the right card, or sometimes with no card at all, you can still have seafood on ice, a carving station and a dessert bar for less than $50 each.
We checked prices in October 2026. Promotions change often, so confirm the deal when you book.

How to get the best buffet deal
Check your cards first. Most 1-for-1 deals are tied to a bank. DBS/POSB cards unlock the most deals on this list, followed by Citibank, OCBC and UOB. You must pay with that card, and you should mention the promotion when you reserve.
Go for weekday lunch. It’s almost always the cheapest session. Prices usually go up on Friday and Saturday nights, and many deals don’t apply on public holidays or their eves.
Do the nett maths. Add about 20% to any “++” price for service charge and GST. That tells you what you’ll actually pay, and it makes it easier to compare with deals quoted as nett.
Worth a mention
A few more deals are worth a look if you have the right card or you’re quick. The Line at Shangri-La Singapore has 1-for-1 lunch from $68++ for HSBC Premier cardholders until 31 Dec 2026. Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre has a 1-for-1 Feast of the Straits dinner at $68++ for SAFRA members, and the halal restaurant Permata at Gedung Kuning has 1-for-1 lunch at $88++ for two, both until 31 Oct 2026. CLOVE at Swissôtel The Stamford has 50% off its Korean Takeover weekday lunch ($40++ after discount), now extended to 15 Nov 2026. Frequently Asked Questions
Are there halal hotel buffets in Singapore under $50?
Yes. The Landmark at Village Hotel Bugis is halal-certified and works out to $42.95++ per person for weekday lunch. Atrium Restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium is also halal-certified and is $49.50++ per person for weekday lunch with its 1-for-1 offer.
What does ++ mean on a buffet price?
It means the price excludes the 10% service charge and 9% GST. Add about 20% to get the final bill. A buffet at $34++ comes to about $40.80 per person, and one at $42.95++ comes to about $51.50.
Do I need a specific credit card for 1-for-1 buffet deals?
Usually, yes. Most hotel 1-for-1 deals are tied to cards from banks like DBS/POSB, UOB, OCBC, Citibank or Maybank, and you have to pay with that card. The Landmark and Atrium Restaurant are the exceptions on this list, as their 1-for-1 offers do not need a card.
Which affordable buffet is best for a date?
For atmosphere, go for Ellenborough Market Café by the Singapore River or Crossroads on Orchard Road. For dinner on a budget, Royale at Mercure Singapore Bugis is $37.50++ per person from Sunday to Thursday with a 1-for-1 card.
Are these buffet deals valid on weekends and public holidays?
Some are, but prices are usually higher on Fridays and weekends, and many card promotions are blocked out on public holidays and their eves. Always check when you make your reservation.
