A ring making workshop in Singapore is one of the few dates where you both walk out with something you’ll wear every day. These 8 studios cover every budget, from $105 silver bands to 18K gold wedding rings, with prices, addresses and what to expect at each.
Most of the work is surprisingly physical. You saw, file, hammer and solder a strip of silver into a band, then sand and polish it until it actually looks like jewellery. Two to three hours later, you slip it on each other’s fingers. It makes a lovely anniversary date, a low-key way to get couple rings, or a sweet lead-up to a proposal.
Prices below were checked on each studio’s official site, and most studios run on appointments, so book a slot before you head down.

1. Make 999 silver couple rings in town at Few Gram Studio

Tucked on the third floor of Orchard Gateway, Few Gram Studio is the one couples keep calling the most wallet-friendly ring making workshop in town, and it’s easy to slot into a day out on Orchard Road. Your instructor walks you through pattern hammering, moulding and soldering, and there are 40 to 50 design references on hand if you’ve no idea what you want yet.
Rings are made in 999 silver, which the studio says is fine for daily wear, showers included. Most pairs finish in one to two hours and leave with their rings the same day. Patina and name stamping cost nothing extra. Book Few Gram Studio on Klook or through their site.
- Address: 277 Orchard Road, #03-03 Orchard Gateway, Singapore 238858
- Opening hours: Sessions between 11am and 6.30pm, by booking
- Price: From $120 per ring
2. Craft a pair of rings at couple pricing at Artisan8 Studio

Artisan8 Studio is one of the few places with a proper couple rate: $236 gets you each a 925 silver ring in its Make Your Own Silver Ring session. Pick from textured, patterned, wrapped or patina finishes, or stamp a short message on the inside. All tools and materials are included, and bands go up to 5mm wide.
Want something fancier for a milestone? Its Black Gold Kintsugi ring, inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, takes about four hours and is plated with real gold. Note that the studio has moved from Orchard Plaza to Far East Shopping Centre, and bookings can’t be refunded or rescheduled.
- Address: 545 Orchard Road, #03-34 Far East Shopping Centre, Singapore 238882
- Opening hours: By appointment
- Price: $118 per pax or $236 per couple (2.5 hours); Black Gold Kintsugi ring $350 per pax
3. Book a private ring making session for two at Fat Anvil Studios

If you’d rather not share a bench with strangers, Fat Anvil Studios does a Private Workshop for 2, where you solder, file and polish your pieces together over two and a half hours. Rings are the obvious pick, but pendants, earrings and cuffs are on the table too. Its regular Silver Ring Experience is one of the cheapest in Singapore at $105 per person.
It’s also one of the few studios where you can make your actual wedding bands, in 18K rose, yellow or palladium white gold, or 22K yellow gold. Weekends book out further ahead, so plan early for those.
- Address: 47 Jalan Pemimpin, #04-01B Halcyon 2, Singapore 577200
- Opening hours: By appointment
- Price: Silver Ring Experience $105 per pax; Private Workshop for 2 $270; Wedding Band workshop $1,600 to $3,200 per couple
4. Forge 18K gold wedding rings together at KOBO Jewellery

KOBO Jewellery is the name to know if you’re thinking wedding rings rather than date-night silver. In its three-hour Wedding Ring class, you and your partner make your own bands in 18K gold or platinum, in champagne, rose or yellow gold, and stamp hidden messages inside. Pricing depends on band width, so ask the studio for a quote.
For a first try, the two-hour Momo silver ring class starts at $120 per ring for a 2.5mm band. Twists, waves and secret stones are optional add-ons, though stone setting needs six to eight weeks.
- Address: 277 New Bridge Road, #03-01, Singapore 088751
- Opening hours: By appointment
- Price: Momo silver ring from $120 per ring; gold and platinum wedding rings on enquiry
5. Hammer out matching silver rings in small groups at 28MM Studios

Scroll through Lemon8 for “ring making date” and 28MM Studios in Kovan pops up again and again. Its Make-A-Ring workshop is two and a half hours in 990 silver, with four to six people per session and one instructor for every pair, so you’re never left guessing.
Twists, patina and diamond-tip engraving are all included, and only extra-wide 6mm to 10mm bands cost $20 to $30 more. The studio doesn’t list its base price online, so check the latest rate when you book.
- Address: Spazio@Kovan, 767 Upper Serangoon Road, Singapore 534635
- Opening hours: By appointment
- Price: On enquiry
6. Secretly make your partner’s ring at Clink Clank Clunk

This Pearl’s Hill studio’s Ring Band Workshop is built for pairs, with a minimum of two rings and no more than four people at a time. The fun twist: come alone and the team will help you make one band for your partner on the side, which makes it a sneaky set-up for a proposal or anniversary surprise.
Over three hours you learn annealing, soldering, piercing and forming in 925 sterling silver, then stamp or texture your bands. Choose open, closed or twisted styles in widths from 3.5mm to 5mm.
- Address: 195 Pearl’s Hill Terrace, #01-01B, Singapore 168976
- Opening hours: By appointment
- Price: From $150 per ring (minimum 2 rings)
7. Spend a weekend afternoon silversmithing at The Imperial Smithster

Up a Joo Chiat shophouse, The Imperial Smithster runs a Basic Silversmithing Workshop most weekends. Make a ring or pendant in sterling silver, with up to 6g of silver included, then grab dinner along Joo Chiat Road after.
Gold alloy is possible if you request it before the session, charged at market rates. Classes take up to seven people and run about two to three hours. Book The Imperial Smithster on Klook for the best rate.
- Address: 229 Joo Chiat Road, Singapore 427489
- Opening hours: Weekend sessions, by booking
- Price: From $108 on Klook ($120 direct)
8. Swap silver for glass rings at Gurasu House

Not a silver person? At Gurasu House, you melt and shape borosilicate glass into colourful rings over a flame. In two hours, each of you makes two rings: one guided design and one freeform, using glass stringers to draw on dots, flowers and swirls.
Rings are ready to collect 30 minutes after you finish. Payment is cash only, and the studio says its workshops can’t be paid for with SG Culture Pass credits.
- Address: 80 Playfair Road, #06-10A Tower A, Kapo Factory Building, Singapore 367998
- Opening hours: By booking
- Price: $158 per pax (two glass rings each)
Make it a date to remember
The ring itself is only half of it. It’s the two of you, a bit nervous with a blowtorch, laughing at each other’s wonky first attempts. For a quick central date, start with Few Gram or Artisan8. For something more private, try Fat Anvil. And if wedding bands are on your mind, KOBO and Fat Anvil let you make the real thing.
