1. Celebrate National Day with a treasure hunt date

This is one of those dates that gives you an excuse to explore parts of Singapore you would not normally visit. Organised by the NDP 2026 EXCO in collaboration with Accenture and Google, Majulah Hunt transforms the island into a digital treasure hunt with 61 locations scattered across the heartlands, city and harbour.

Using a browser-based web app, couples can scan landmarks, unlock weekly Discoveries and collect limited-edition August plushies along the way. The game runs until 10 August and gradually leads players towards a secret final location, making it a fun ongoing date idea that stretches across several weekends. With only seven Discoveries unlockable each week, it is worth starting early if you want the best shot at collecting the full set of rewards.

  • Date: Now – 10 Aug 2026
  • Opening hours: Anytime

POP TOY SHOW Singapore returns for its only global stop in 2026, and this year’s edition doubles as Molly’s 20th birthday celebration. Expect exclusive anniversary merchandise, event-only collectibles, artist meet-and-greets and interactive fan experiences across three days at Sands Expo.

Molly creator Kenny Wong will be in Singapore for the celebration alongside several other international and regional artists, making this a rare chance to browse, collect and discover new designer toys together. Look out for returning favourites such as Tasty Toastys with its food-inspired characters, Necoco.studio by Kiera Won and its dreamy handmade creations, Moon Pancake’s pastel collectibles and more. Whether you’re watching from the Helix Bridge, Tanjong Rhu Promenade, the Riverside Walk or the Kallang Lawn Bowl, it’s an easy date that still feels surprisingly romantic. If you’re looking for a low-cost evening that doesn’t require reservations, this is one of the easiest ways to make an ordinary night feel a little more memorable.

Don’t miss Tales of Earth and Sea, where the National Museum’s façade becomes a giant animated canvas celebrating regional folklore, and keep an eye out for the mysterious Birdmen, a flock of towering winged creatures roaming the festival grounds.
